Building an AR pistol, more stress than fun.

I have exhaustively searched the internet for Companies/Manuf. that deal/build sell uppers and lowers for an AR pistol.

I am amazed at the price difference.
I have narrowed it down to 2 companies for the upper and lower respectively.
So I was starting to get my order together when I noticed 8-12 month delivery dates..

I am now looking for a used pistol or nice one that will not take as long.
I have priced the stripped lowers and lower parts kits, and I am really all ready to go..I just need to find a kit or gun that suits me.
I will definately throw on a Noveske flash hider. Those things are sick looking.

I have seen all that Gbroke has to offer, man I have seen it all...I have a few configurations put together, but nothing solid yet.
There is a new Gun Store here in my town..Black Weapons Armory (www.blackweaponsarmory.com) that has a guy who makes pistols that are totally heat ready...All Mil-Spec..I just want a few extra features on my upper and lower that are only obtainable through certain vendors.
I would like to have my lower engraved with some sentimental words. Sun Devil Manuf. here in AZ. offers that service. for $35.00. I'm sure it's more for what I want but it's still cool to have a personalized weapon. They also have colored annodized lowers..crazy stuff.
Gunsamerica.com has some nice stuff just too pricey..I can compare w/ about 15 different sites, so I know what the price should be.
I will have my pistol...I will!!
