Captain Garand, 38 Super cartridge was introduced in the late 1920s as a higher pressure loading of the .38 ACP. The .38 Super has gained distinction as the caliber of choice for many top pistol match competitors. It has a flat trajectory and is a hot round. Now the 1911 is available in 38 Super. Here is my Colt Combat Commander chambered in 38 Super. "When Determined To Survive, Leave Nothing To Chance" |

Thank you. If I am not mistaken, I have two pistols and one revolver with rubber grips. I think, dang it - now I am going to have to check. Tomorrow perhaps, to darn late right now. "When Determined To Survive, Leave Nothing To Chance" |
