They're a good truck gun and hunting gun, easier to beat up then a browning i think not a bad gun, will work well.

Stoeger is just the import agent. The shotguns (I'm not sure about the spelling of the last name) are made by A.E. Armetello in Brazil. I still have 2 out of 5 that I have bought over the years (80s-90s). I only had one problem out of the 5, a SBS 12ga Uplander had the right firing pin that would not always work so it went to the gun show where I traded and mad about $300.
I kept two for field hunting, a 12 Condor II and a 20 SBS Uplander. Both are excellent field guns. The older models had a lot better wood on them, but you have to ask your self what are you buying it for. If you use it for hunting, then what is your problem? They have a much better action on them in comparrison to the cheap Russian Models sold under Remington and Mossberg names. If you want something pretty to impress your friends at the skeet & trap range, then bring some money to the table.
