browning bar in 308 , its got leopold optics on it , but it is used in nice , nice shape 750.00 , hit or should i let it go to another good home ? they have new 30.06 in stock for the same price w/o optics , delema ?

Depending on the model of the Leopold scope, that could be a great price. Does the rifle have the BOSS system? Personally, I like the .308 better, but it depends on what you're going to use it for.
If it's a high dollar scope, I'd take it in a heartbeat over the new rifle.

Listen to Brad. He's correct regarding price and chambered in .308 isn't that easy to find. However, 30-06 is more for big game if thats what your looking for.
