US Military thinking of switching to the G36 series?

They could be but it depends if it beats the XM-8 rifle which I would yes but they would have to remodify it a bit. personally I would go with the M4 6.8 caliber, buts its the people of the military would choose The AR-15 is Gangster.even snipers |

Well the M16/M4 is still going to be dominate for about 15 years. The XM8 project was canceled for several reason but mostly that the .223/5.56x45mm rounds power has proven to be lacking, and politics(a german gun in the hands of an American soldier wasn't to hot with congress) So it will be a while befor we see any move. |
