The Cheytac M-200 Rifle is built for the .408 CheyTac cartridge. (Very sharp looking rifle.) It's between the .338 Lapua and the .50 BMG from what I am able to gather. The cartridge allows supersonic velocity at ranges beyond 2100 yards. Beyond 750 yards the bullet has more foot pounds behind it than the .50BMG ball bullet. The cartridge is also 33% lighter, and said to generate less recoil. The cartridge is for long range engagements. From what I read, it is accurate at ranges up to 2450 yards. A respectable distance to reach out and touch someone.
