Only a few 12 Gauge Youth Models are available. There are Many 20 Gauge Youth models however. Are you interested in a Pump or Auto Loader?
A good Pump, Rem 870. A good Auto Rem 1100

I started just with a Remington 870 wingmaster 12 guage shotgun thats the best I can say
