i am looking to buy a hand gun to protect myself and my children I'm not quite sure what to look for....Hoping maybe someone can give me some info to help me make a decision... |

If you are new to gun ownership Iwould recoment a Revolver, in 38 special, but any gun you get for home defence you need to take it to the range and shoot it, get used to its function and feel. |

any caliber hand gun is better then none so i would recomend you find a gun store or a range that will let you shoot something before you buy it and get a feel for what ever fits your needs but one thing for sure you mentioned kids please take some safty courses learn everything you can about all the safty you can handle one thing i firmly believe is curiosity killed the cat what i mean is if you and your kids are new teach them too dont hide anything from them teach them too shoot teach them the dangers and everything else that goes along with responsible gun ownership so good luck and please keep us informed |
