Anti Gun Legislation

I just received my wtitten responses from my Senators and Congressmen from Alabama on how they stood on HR 297 and HR 1022, both legislation to infringe on our 2nd Ammendment rights to own and bear arms. All but one were against passing any of these bills, but, one was wavering on which way to vote being swayed by the anti-gun lobby. If he believes that keeping guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, then he is anti-2nd Ammendment. He stated he was for all of us to own guns, but, with restrictions. Friends, I don't want any restrictions on my owning or bearing arms, what about you? I wrote the Senator who is wavering and told him that if any of these bills passed with his help, I would do everything in my power to get him voted out of office. That is really all these professional polititions take as being serious, that is being voted out.

I urge all of you to keep informed on what the latest is on anti-gun legislation. Also monitor your state representatives in Washington to keep them honest and voting for what you believe to be true. Communicate your feelings with them so, they know what the people that own guns want. It seems that only the anti-gun people make the most noise, that needs to change.
