I'm looking forward to getting to know my fellow officers! Feel free to introduce yourself.

I'm Ben and I freaking love guns even though i currently don't own one. I have shot a glock 9mm, a springfield armory 1911, and ar-15, an HK mp5, and a 22 rifle.

Ben

Hello to you! I guess I just made Officer status. Funny I retired a full Bird and have to work my way up all over again. I have really enjoyed this site and all the folks in it. I try to help with tips and advice but I have also gotten a lot of good information as well. I am former 5th Special Forces, then Spec Ops and 25 yrs at the Puzzle Palace. Participated in the Southeast Asia War Games, Dom Rep, Grenada, Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. Most of the guys still call me Colonel but my call sign is Mad Dog, use whatever you like. So, thanks for having me and thanks for being part of the group. JD

Hello fellow officers. After reading JD Carp's resume, I feel like a pauper. I am ex-Air Force, retired aero space dreamer and a lover of hand guns especially all forms of 1911's, large and compact. That is the long and short of who I am.

I have to add one more item to my list of interesting guns. As I wrote before, I have been a collector of any kind of 1911, but since have added Browning High Power 9mm, and an AK47 that shoots like a dream and you can abuse it and it keeps right on firing. Life is sweet, and, the joy of being in the later part of life is great, having the knowledge of many kinds of weaponry and still able to get around to shoot them.

Fred, I can see you do like 1911's, especially Colts. I saw your posting in the Gun Discussion section and saw your herd of Colts. I added a few more to your herd, that is if they will let old buddies ride along???
